"The 1940 Denver Pioneers football team was an American football team that represented the University of Denver in the Mountain States Conference (MSC) during the 1940 college football season. In its second season under head coach Cac Hubbard, the team compiled a 6–2–1 record (4–1–1 against RMC opponents), tied for second in the conference, and outscored opponents by a total of 155 to 93. "The Farmington Historic Downtown Commercial District in Farmington, New Mexico is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. It is approximately eight blocks, along Main St. and Broadway, from Auburn Ave. to Miller Ave. The district included 62 contributing buildings and one contributing site, as well as 37 non-contributing buildings. One of the older business block buildings is the Falling Waters building, a two-part building built in 1907 with modifications in the 1920s and 1930s.
